NEW YORK, NY (Dec. 31, 2013) – The Compulsions closed out the year as part of the Bowery Electric’s New Years Eve 2013 Bash in New York, NY. This New York based super-group consists of guitarist Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses, The Psychedelic Furs), drummer Frank Ferrer (Guns N’ Roses, Psychedelic Furs), front-man and guitarist Rob Carlyle, and Sami Yaffa (Michael Monroe, New York Dolls). Often playing small clubs and venues in the city, The Compulsions frequent the NYC nightlife scene when all members are in the area. The band rocked the sold-out Bowery Electric until a little before midnight with crowd-favorites “Big Fat Sexy Mama“, “Groove On“, “Down on the Tracks” among others in their 60+minute set.
